Conference Hotel:
Athens Cypria Hotel
Rooms will be available to book on a first-come/first-serve basis. The Athens Cypria Hotel has offered the Eugene O’Neill Society a 15% Discount for all conference participants, from May 22 to June 4, 2025. A booking code for the 15% discount will be available to all accepted conference participants. Acceptance letters will be sent out in mid-September.
We will be holding a reception at the Athens Cypria Hotel during the conference and there is a nice café in the spacious lobby and a bar on the roof that will be available even if you are not staying in the hotel. For those who are staying in the hotel, note that breakfast (in a mezzanine dining area) is included in the room fee for the room reservation. The hotel is a short 10-minute walk to the conference site – University of Athens, Central Building.
Other Housing Accomodations Near the Conference Site
We are designating the Athens Cypria Hotel as the conference hotel because of the discount, but you are free to arrange housing accommodations wherever it suits you. Hotels (Hotels.com, Booking.com, etc.), Rentals (AirBnb, VRBO, etc.) and hostels are available throughout the Plaka District, which is near (10-20 minutes walking distance) the conference site –University of Athens, Central Building.
